Eye Tracing

I (Cara) was introduced to Figure 8’s as a means to unblock energy from goddess Donna Eden’s book, Energy Medicine, but it was Amy Scher’s incredibly *beautiful* book, How to Heal Yourself When No One Else Can, where I was taught eye tracing. There are about 10 exercises total that I perform daily (only 5 minutes a day) to balance my energy. Eye tracing is one of my favorites (along with the Heart Tap previously posted and the Hook Up that will be posted soon). It’s a great exercise for integrating your right and left brain energetically and creating balance when you are all caught up in your head or can’t think straight.

How to perform Eye Tracing:

  1. Take your middle finger of either hand.
  2. Start between your brows, where your Third Eye chakra lies.
  3. Begin tracing an 8 along your eyes and up your brows.
  4. Do this about 10 times, breathing deeply as you do.

That’s it! Give it try during these times when you need some soothing and calming.
